How Does Cash Direct Club Work?

Cash Direct Club shoppers can earn cashback through several activities:

However, you also earn $20 just for signing up and making a $20 purchase within 14 days. No better way to start your cashback experience than with a free $20!

Online Shopping

Online shopping is the primary earning method for cashback shoppers.

Cash Direct Club partnered with hundreds of major retailers, smaller stores, and websites in several industries to cater to as many consumers as possible.

Now, their selection isn’t as expansive as Ebates/Rakuten, whom many would say is the clear market leader in this space.

However, you’ll still see plenty of familiar names like

You’ll also see excellent cashback rates.

Cashback tends to fall in the 2-5% range, with most leaning towards the upper end of that range; however, we saw a ton of offers for 8% and even 10% cashback.

But that’s not all.

Cash Direct Club doubles your cashback on virtually every offer if you make a “premium” purchase, aka you buy at least $99 worth of products in one sitting from one store.

For example, we saw a 5% cashback offer for Shoes.com. However, if you spend $99 or more (which isn’t hard to do when shoe shopping), they double that to 10%!

They don’t double standard 10% cashback offers, as 20% would be too much. However, they bump it up to 15%, which is an insane amount in its own right.

But combine the double cashback with your $20 signup bonus and you have a free $30 in your pocket!

Also, unlike Rakuten, there are barely any restrictions/guidelines on cashback offers. They don’t count purchases using gift cards or purchase made through a store’s own mobile app, but that’s about it.

No long list of exclusions containing all the items you were planning on buying that end up negating the purpose of shopping through the platform.

Loans

Cash Direct Club partnered with personal loan company Upstart to offer borrowers $100 for taking out a loan up to $50,000 through the Cash Direct Club site.

If you were looking to consolidate and/or refinance your debt, there’s almost no reason NOT to do it through Cash Direct Club. Upstart on its own is a pioneer in personal lending, using education and employment to predict creditworthiness over traditional factors.

Using these factors grants access to those who have little to no credit history but would otherwise be responsible with debt. After all, an educated and employed person probably has the income to pay back debt, at least in Upstart’s eyes.

Rates range from 7.98%-35.99% depending on those factors Upstart considers, and loan terms are either 3 or 5 years. They let you check your rate beforehand without affecting your credit score too, which is a neat little feature.

Home-Buying

Yes, Cash Direct Club will pay you $5,000 to buy a house.

All you do is fill out their home-buying form. They’ll then match you with a top real estate agent near you to assist you in your home search. Cash Direct Club will send you $5,000 within 30 days of closing on your chosen home.

That’ll cover closing costs and then some on most houses $150,000 and below.

Or, you can think of it this way: that’s nearly 17% of your entire down payment on a $150,000 home!

Referrals

You can earn up to $10 per referral.

You earn your first $5 when they make their first purchase.

You earn your second $5 when they make their first premium purchase of $99 or more.

Your referrals get the same signup bonus, so use that to sell them on signing up and you’ll be stacking the side cash.

The Cash Direct Club Button

Cash Direct Club will pay you another $3 for installing their extension called the Cash Direct Club Button on your browser. This takes all of 10 seconds.

The Cash Direct Club button hunts for cashback opportunities on every site you visit, notifying you about opportunities and letting you activate the cashback without having to visit Cash Direct Club’s site.

Getting Paid

You need at least $50 in your account to cash out. Once you have at least $50, you can opt for either PayPal or physical check.

The Verdict

Cash Direct Club is an amazing cashback site if you can deal with some fan favorites like Amazon not being on there.

But even that’s not an issue, as they still have plenty of big names.

Overall, you should sign up for Cash Direct Club even if you use another cashback site.

The cashback rates are too good to pass up. The “premium” rates are even better. Plus, you can earn significant amounts of cashback through other methods beyond just shopping online.

Even if you don’t want to shop through Cash Direct Club, you should sign up if you’re in the market for a new home or a personal loan.

There’s simply too much free money on the table to not try Cash Direct Club out.
